"Rock The Mix!" Youth Theater Auditions!
Casting Ages 5-18

The Sacramento Children’s Musical Theater seeks local youth ages 5-18 to star in “Rock The Mic!” the ultimate, all singing, all dancing youth pop concert featuring today’s hottest hits and yesterday’s favorites from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s!
Perform songs from Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, BTS, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Adele, Camila Cabello, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Lizzo, The Weeknd, Rihanna, Jonas Brothers, Billie Eilish and more!
Our convenient nine week program with only one rehearsal per week on Wednesdays or Sundays at the Howe Park Community Center at Howe Park makes participation in “Rock The Mic!” fun and easy for busy families.
Casting ages 5-18. SCMT fosters diversity and inclusion and no experience is required.
Auditions: May 6th & 7th, 1:30-5:30pm. You only need to attend one audition day.


Ages 5-8: 1:30-3:30pm
Ages 9-18: 3:30-5:30pm

The Fulton-El Camino Recreation & Park District is excited to announce a new youth theater program through our partnership with The Sacramento Children’s Musical Theater. The Sacramento Children’s Musical Theater (SCMT) is dedicated to creating high quality performing arts experiences for youth ages 5-18. By offering colorful youth theatrical productions, SCMT provides performing arts training that boosts children’s self-esteem, confidence, and teaches the value of teamwork. Their inclusive program accepts all youth who audition and provides a variety of performing arts opportunities for first timers to experienced performers. Throughout the year, SCMT will offer a variety of musical theater
productions, film projects, workshops and classes that will be held at The Richard T. Conzelmann Community Center located in Howe Park.
