SACRAMENTO COUNTY SHERIFF'S CONTACT INFORMATION

Sacramento County Sheriff's North

The FEC Park Police and Rangers patrol our parks daily providing security and law enforcement services for our park district residents as well as contracted park districts.

Officers are fully sworn California Peace Officers with the same authority as Sheriff’s Deputies and the City of Sacramento Police Officers. When necessary, the officers make arrests and issue citations for violations of local, state, and federal law. The goal of the park police division is to provide park visitors and their families with a safe and enjoyable recreation atmosphere in all of the parks and facilities.  Professional interaction with visitors as well as a balanced combination of education and enforcement by our park police helps to accomplish this goal.

In the event of an emergency in one of our parks, please call 9-1-1 or the Sacramento Sheriff’s emergency number. For non-life threatening emergencies, please call the non-emergency number with Sacramento County Sheriff’s office. When park officers are on-duty they will be dispatched to an incident in one of the parks.
